Dr. Andrew Kauffman provides a quality-based, patient-oriented dental practice with an emphasis on restorative and cosmetic care while maintaining a traditional family practice, treating patients of all ages. Dr. Kauffman grew up in Midland and graduated from Midland Lee High School before attending UT Austin.

After completing his B.S. degree, Dr. Kauffman garnered his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Dental School. Professional associations include the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Academy of Reconstructive and Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Texas Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Kauffman and his wife, also a Midland native, returned to Midland, following Dental School and began his practice at it’s current location in 1979. Dr. Kauffman was in the first Leadership Midland class in 1980 and through the years has been active on civic and charity boards, as well as serving 6 years on the board of Trinity School.

Dr. Kauffman was named Midland’s "Best Dentist" by the very first Midland Reporter Telegram survey in 1989 and has repeated this achievement a majority of the subsequent years. In 2009, Dr. Kauffman was named one of "America’s Top Dentist".

When Dr. Kauffman is away from the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife of 37 years, Lexie and their two sons, Jerard and Cade. He is an avid bird hunter and fly fisherman.
